My Diary arrived just in time... yippee! |
This time last year I set myself the challenge of reading 50 books in the whole year and not spending more then £50. I would have reached my challenge if I'd continued reading from September as I was already well over the half way mark but as I didn't I fell so far behind that I changed my target to 40 as I just couldn't help not feeling well but also it was quite a milestone to reach 40. I'm happy with that.
Here is what I have read....
1: The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Stepped Out of the Window and Disappeared
I completed The Wizard of OZ after a year of reading it. I read mostly short stories and the complete box set of the oops series. I still need to review all the books after Rosemary's Baby as I've just been so lazy to do it. I will probably do a week or 2 block post in order to get those done.
I also stuck to my target of £50 and actually spent £40, so £1 a book this year. Lets see if I can spend even less next year.
It's been ages since I have read through all of the Oz books, and I actually purchased the boxset late last year (yay for a 40% off sale!). So it is on the reading list this year, along with re-reading Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit before the third film is released. Ha ha, and then everything else in between of course!
