Project: 30 Day Journal Challenge

This is the last of my journal and I really can't believe June is over, where did the days and time go! Its been a month full of rain with a little hint of sunshine but now I hope that July will be full of lots of sun especially since on Thursday I'll be spending the day at the seaside and Friday at a sculpture park... it will be really appreciated on those days!

Day 23: Today I want you to fill an entire page in your journal with one of the elements of art. (Here they are: 1. Line 2. Color 3. Shape 4. Space 5. Texture 6. Form)
day 23
I decided to do one continuous line, I could probably have done it fancier but with working on this journal at night, my brain wasn't up to thinking.

Day 24: What is your most favorite place in the world? Is it a country, a town, a room, a secret place that no one else knows about? I know you have one, I want to see it!!
day 24
My desk in my bedroom. I one day hope to have a little office in any house that I own but of course that may soon disappear if we ever have children.

Day 25: I want you to think about your day today. If you had to describe to me in one word, or one short phrase what would it be?? Us this phrase or word repeatedly on your page, trying out new fonts
day 25
Monday to Wednesday is usually a long day and next year it will feel even longer if I'm expected to work with the children through their lunch and having mine before or after (or even split). I'll need to discuss that.

Day 26: Today you are going to write out your favorite recipe!! This can be written, illustrated, cut and pasted, something. It is always really good to document these small little pieces of your life. Don't you think?
day26
Supposed to be making dinnerVegAll that veg cutting resulted in this
I used to watch Ready, Steady Cook after work and one day one of the chefs made a mixed vegetable pasta with egg. Basically boil your pasta, cut your veg and put it altogether with a beaten egg. Cook it on the hob to cook the  bottom and then place it under the grill to cook the top. Eventually it turned into me just simmering the veg and boiling the pasta. Adding them both together and topping with cheese and sticking it in the oven to brown on top. My siblings preferred this way so it stuck but I don't make it often enough as its a pain to cut all that veg.

Day 27: If you could change one thing, what would it be. This could be something about yourself, your situation, your city, your country, the world...anything!!
day 27
I'm curious to know what funky career choices you'd like to make.

Day 28: What are you most looking forward to? This can be something tomorrow, in a month, a year, or way into the future :)
day 28
Day 29: Today I want you to write a letter to either your past self, or your future self. What are some things that you wish you would have known in the past? What are some things that you want to remember in the future? Write yourself a love letter today!!
Day 29
A letter to my 20 year old self as I decided to just take 10 years off. My 16 year old self was just floating through life oblivious to life really.

Day 30: What did you do this week that moved you closer to reaching your goals?
day 30
This will be the last project I will post on this blog, all my others will be posted on my Bubbles blog. I have however not completed my July project yet as I've ended up getting caught up in reading and spending time with my niece. Hopefully I'll get to blog about that soon.

Project: 30 Day Journal Challenge

I wanted to post this yesterday but decided I wanted to read instead so I'm posting it today. Here are the next couple of pages in my journal.

Day 9:Choose another person who is very significant in your life right now. It can definitely be the same person that we wrote about on day 3. This prompt is going to be all about those wonderful adjectives, and typography. Describe your special person with as many words as you can fit. For each word, try to use a different font or writing style. This is a great way to practice fun typography
journal 9
I decided to decribe my sister

Day 10:This prompt is all about collections. What do you collect? If anything. Do you collect buttons, clothes, shoes, friends, parking tickets, whatever!! Illustrate your collections. This will be fun to look back on someday and see how your collections have grown or have moved on.
journal 10
Hobbies of my past, I really would love to go back into stamp collecting again as I receive some amazing ones but I'm just too lazy to take on another hobby.

Day 11:Hello friends. Today is another one of my favorite pages. And speaking of favorites, this is a page all about your faves!! We are going to list your favorites in each of these four categories: * TV shows * Music * Food * Splurges
Day 11
Day 12: Journal 12 is all about trends. Whether you consider yourself "trendy" or not, I bet there are a few trends that you find yourself gravitating to. If not, you can create a page of trends that you think are lame too, it's up to you.
journal 12
I seem to be following in the trends of electrical equipment. I never thought I would be something change I guess.

Day 13:Silly insecurities....we all have them unfortunately. If you don't, you are my hero :) Today I want you to document your insecurities, face them, write them down, reflect on them, and get them out of your system. Somewhere on your page I want you to write "BUT..." This will lead in to tomorrow's prompt :) This is definitely not a fun prompt but it's kind of necessary in order to move past them.
Day 13
Day 14:Ok, now that we have all of the yucky insecurities out of our system, I want us to completely focus ONLY on the things that make you the amazing person that you are. What are the qualities that you possess that make you so wonderful? Don't be shy and don't be modest either on this one.
journal day 14
Day 15: Today I would like you to brainstorm some goals for the upcoming month. A short list of goals that will be attainable to accomplish in one month

Project: 30 Day Journal Challenge

Sabrina at The Year of The Pumpkin arrived late posted a journal challenge last month on her blog and I decided to take part. I didn't stick to the days as I couldn't so did what I could when I could which is why I haven't had time to do anything else. I've enjoyed it and I hope that you do in learning more about me. I will continue to post my projects on a Friday so you'll have to sit patiently until them.

Day 1: Create a full day design introducing yourself.
day 1
As I bought a journal with too many pages I've added in some extra bits just to fill some of them up. You'll have to excuse any mistakes that I've made though! I've tried to stick to a similar theme of bubble writing title, calligraphy pen writing and drawing as well as adding in a few of the Instagram photos that I have taken.

If you have any journal ideas that you'd like to do but need a partner let me know as I had so much fun doing this one that I've bought some books to do more.

Are you working on any thing at the moment?
